2. Initial Setup: When first using the diffuser, insert the reeds into the fragrance oil. Allow them to soak for a few hours and then flip them to saturate the opposite ends. This helps to initiate the diffusion process.
3. Regular Reed Flipping: Periodically flip the reeds (every few days or once a week) to refresh the scent. Be cautious as oil may drip, and always wash your hands after handling the reeds.
4. Avoid Spillage: Keep the diffuser on a stable surface to prevent spills. If spillage occurs, clean immediately to prevent damage to surfaces, especially wood.
5. Controlling Scent Intensity: For a stronger scent, use more reeds or flip them more frequently. For a subtler fragrance, use fewer reeds.
6. Refilling: When the oil is low, you can refill the bottle with the same scent. Avoid mixing different fragrances in the same diffuser to prevent scent distortion.
7. Regular Cleaning: Before refilling, clean the diffuser bottle with mild soap and water to remove any residue and ensure optimal fragrance diffusion.
